Bouncx (the “Game”) is developed by teklabs. The Game does not require an account and does not ask for your name, email address or other contact details. This page explains what information is stored on your device and what is shared with third-party services.
Information stored on your device
The Game stores the following only on your device (no cloud sync):
- Your progress: stars earned per level, your endless-mode record, coins, purchased comet designs and the selected design.
- Settings: sound and vibration on/off, and whether you have seen the tutorial.
This information is removed when you delete the Game or clear its data in your device settings.
Consent
When you start the Game, it uses Google’s User Messaging Platform to ask for your consent where the law requires it (for example in the European Economic Area and the United Kingdom). Until your consent status is known, the Game does not collect analytics and does not request ads. You can change your choice later where the Game offers it, or by reinstalling the Game.
Analytics and crash reports
The Game uses Google Firebase Analytics to understand how the Game is played (for example which levels are completed and where players get stuck) and Firebase Crashlytics to receive crash reports. Google receives an app-instance identifier, device model, operating-system version, app version, language and, for crashes, diagnostic information such as the stack trace. We use this to fix problems and improve the Game, not to identify you.
Advertising
The Game offers optional rewarded ads through the Google Mobile Ads SDK (AdMob): you can choose to watch an ad in exchange for an in-game reward. When ads are requested, Google may collect your IP address, coarse location derived from it, device and operating-system information, and ad interaction events (impressions, clicks) to show ads, measure them and prevent fraud.
- On iOS, the Game does not ask for App Tracking Transparency permission and does not access your device’s advertising identifier (IDFA).
- On Android, the Google Mobile Ads SDK may use the Android Advertising ID. You can reset or delete it in your Android settings.
Google acts as an independent controller for this data. See the Google Privacy Policy and how Google uses information from apps that use its services.
What we do not collect
We do not ask for or receive your name, email address, phone number, contacts, photos, camera, microphone or precise location. We do not sell personal data. The only third party that receives data through the Game is Google (Firebase and AdMob), as described above.
Children
The Game is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided information through the Game, contact us and we will help remove it.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct or delete your personal data and to object to its processing. Because the Game has no account, we cannot link analytics or ad data to you by ourselves; for data held by Google, use the tools linked above. For any request, email us.
